Cheers to the New Year!

The start of 2022 has already begun! I wanted to spend this New Year trying something different from my usual with my family! I still made sure to wish them a happy new year before I left to meet my girl before the ball dropped! We bought great snacks to spend a night at home watching the ball drop! As we spent a night in mostly due to the rising cases of Covid and we thought it would be the right thing to do to keep ourselves safe and as well for others in our lives. Together, we ate, drank (just one!) and reminisced about all the hardships, challenges that we had endured over this past year that felt more like two from a continuation from 2020. To see how far and what we overcame and all the changes that we are facing not only in life and society but in our personal lives. As we grow, it seems change is just imminent. It becomes apart of life we never knew before until now. With that can come sadness, but also strength. It can bring you growth in ways you never imagined! Life can test you and put you in situations you could never even phathom! Test your will and teach you to keep moving and learn from your mistakes.

That is why for the New Year my resolutions that I want to commit and use going forward for my adult life are as follows:

  1. To stay focused and organized in my goals. Hence to keep using my planner method!

  2. Do not jeapordize my mental health, to keep my well being top priority not only physically but for mind and soul as well.

  3. To always stay humble and grateful. Continue to be me, learning from past mistakes to grow.

  4. Do not force or fight for anyone or anything. To learn to control what is possible by your actions.

  5. Respect boundaries.

These are all resolutions that have helped me and I am going to stick. Many are from new experiences I faced in this past year and I want to be the best version of myself. That peace of mind is the greatest gift you can give yourself! Happy New Year! Let's make this year truly count to start the life we want! To never forget to be grateful for the one you have!
