I started a new tradition for myself without and that is to have brunch every morning for the New Year! After having a sleep over with my girl, "I was like you wanna have breakfast at this amazing spot I have heard so much about?!". Ofcourse she agreed and was on board! After watching a few episodes of Queer Eye, we both got ready and took an Uber to Sunday In Brooklyn!
When entering its a chic, upbeat eatery! They play some of the best oldies and great mix of R&B and Hip Hop!
We sat down and were given our menus.
We knew for sure that we wanted cocktails so I ordered a Heaven or Las Vegas and Jill ordered a Champagne Problems. Both very refreshing and delicious, so much so we had three rounds!
Now, the pancakes are exceptional. They are fluffy and moist and warm. The Hazelnut Praline and brown butter that are smothered on top is just decadent and flavorful! Just a heads up we got a double but they are definitely big enough to share. One pancake can definitely feed two people. We ate every bit of those pancakes and loved it!
I also ordered the Cheddar Scramble, which was also quite enjoyable. The eggs were fluffy and fresh. The homemade sausage was very savory. The home fries were seasoned perfectly, some of the best I have had at a brunch spot! Even Jill couldn't stop stealing some off of my plate!
I would definitely recommend Sunday in Brooklyn for a great brunch/breakspot! We even tried the maple cheddar biscuit which was moist and tasty! There is so many more choices to try. Like the biscuits and gravy we saw! Just know it is worth the money you will spend! Its not over the top but can add up! Still you will enjoy a great meal! Let me know your experience when you try Sunday in Brooklyn. I will be back!
